A leading company in the technology sector, providing services at Barcelona Airport, is seeking: Network Technicians to perform the following duties. These are field technicians required to possess hardware expertise and experience installing fiber-optic cabling at the airport. **Operational Tasks:** Daily management of incidents via the Remedy ticketing tool. Incident management via email. Daily reporting on task status. Inventory additions and removals. **Periodic Tasks:** temperature monitoring, QP status checks, measurements, Fortinet reports. Shift handover report. **Technical Tasks:** **Network monitoring using management tools:** logs, Hivision, Prime, Zabbix. Basic knowledge of errors and alarms generated by management tools. Monitoring switch port statuses. Switch configuration (Cisco, Nortel, Hirschmann, Linksys, 3Com): zero-configuration switches, VLANs, ports, trunks. PoE configuration. AP configuration. AMINOS and Exterity configuration. VLAN scanning. Unicast and multicast IP address reservation. Locating devices on the network, including electronic equipment and end-network devices. Preventive maintenance (TvIP, Wi-Fi, Centers, Public Address Systems). **Incident diagnosis and resolution:** with or without escalation. Telephone replacements. Patching (copper and fiber) and rack-mounted equipment assembly. Probe installation.
