**Job Title:** Junior Architect
**Location:** Barcelona, Spain

**Reports to:** Managing Director
**Contract Type:** Fixed\-Term Contract (FTC) – 12 months
**Key Responsibilities**
* Support the design and development of architectural packages for themed entertainment, museums, visitor attractions, immersive experiences, hospitality, retail, and leisure projects.
* Assist senior architects and design leads in producing concept designs, schematic layouts, technical drawings, presentation material, and design documentation.
* Prepare architectural drawings, BIM/Revit models, construction details, design presentations, and visual communication materials.
* Assist in developing masterplans, guest circulation studies, façade concepts, landscape coordination, and spatial planning solutions.
* Coordinate architectural information with Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Show Design, Graphics, Technical Design, and Project Management teams.
* Produce high\-quality design presentations, mood boards, diagrams, and client presentation material that effectively communicate creative concepts.
* Support design coordination with external consultants, engineers, specialist suppliers, and fabrication partners.
* Participate in internal design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and creative workshops.
* Assist with preparing planning submissions, technical documentation, schedules, and project deliverables.
* Conduct design research into materials, emerging technologies, sustainability initiatives, accessibility standards, and innovative architectural solutions.
* Assist in reviewing project documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company quality standards.
* Support site visits, surveys, installation reviews, and coordination meetings where required.
* Learn and develop knowledge of themed entertainment design principles, immersive storytelling, experiential architecture, and visitor experience planning.
* Maintain organised project documentation and contribute to effective document control procedures.
* Support project teams in meeting programme deadlines while maintaining exceptional design quality.
* Contribute positively to a collaborative, creative, and innovative studio culture.
**Key Skills / Experience Required**
**Educational Qualification**
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
**Additional Qualifications / Certifications**
* Working towards professional architectural registration (preferred).
* BIM/Revit training or certification (preferred).
**Prior Experience**
* **2–5 years' professional experience** within an architectural practice, multidisciplinary design consultancy, or creative design studio.
* Experience producing architectural drawings, design documentation, and presentation packages.
* Previous exposure to hospitality, leisure, retail, cultural, mixed\-use, themed entertainment, exhibition, or public realm projects is desirable.
* Internship or project experience involving experiential environments or visitor attractions would be advantageous.
**Other Skills (Preferred)**
* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
* Experience using Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, V\-Ray, or similar rendering software.
* Strong graphic communication and presentation skills.
* Excellent conceptual thinking and creative problem\-solving abilities.
* Basic understanding of architectural detailing and construction principles.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Passion for experiential design, themed entertainment, architecture, storytelling, and creative placemaking.
* Fluency in English is essential; Spanish and/or Catalan would be advantageous.
* Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and international project support.
