Job Summary: We are seeking a nursing assistant / geriatric caregiver to attend to and care for residents, support them in daily activities, and monitor their general condition. Key Highlights: 1. A senior residence is seeking to hire a **nursing assistant / geriatric caregiver** to cover a **vacation substitution period (8\-9 months)**, with a **real possibility of permanent staff integration** upon contract completion, subject to performance evaluation. **Responsibilities:** * Providing care and attention to residents. * Assisting with basic daily living activities (hygiene, feeding, mobility, etc.). * Monitoring and tracking residents’ overall condition. **IMPORTANT – Additional responsibilities during the substitution period:** * **Night shift coverage**, performing all duties inherent to the role during nighttime hours. * **Performing cleaning tasks**, as this role will also cover the vacation period of the cleaning staff. * This includes cleaning facilities, rooms, and common areas as required by the center. **Employment Conditions:** * Temporary contract for vacation substitution (8\-9 months). * **Possibility of stable permanent integration into staff** upon completion of the assignment. * Rotating shifts (day and night). * Work schedule based on a **long-week / short-week system**: * Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday * Week 2: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday **Requirements:** * Qualification in **nursing assistance, socio-healthcare support, or equivalent**. * Prior experience in residential care facilities is preferred. * **Availability to work night shifts and perform cleaning tasks.** * Responsible, versatile, and positive individual. **We Offer:** * Job stability with a genuine opportunity for continuity. * A positive work environment. * Comprehensive and versatile experience within the socio-healthcare field. **Interested candidates:** Please send your CV to direccio.vilanova@vidasenior.cat or contact us at 682 603 308 Job Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site
