Inspections will include but are not limited to; inspect aircraft for leaks, Main Landing Gear (MLG) and Nose Landing Gear (NLG) shock struts for cracks, damage, security, and leakage. Visually checks components to locate worn, dirty, or poorly adjusted parts and accessories. Inspections will include but are not limited to; inspect aircraft for leaks, Main Landing Gear (MLG) and Nose Landing Gear (NLG) shock struts for cracks, damage, security, and leakage. Lubricating MLG and NLG strut pistons with hydraulic fluid. Knowledge of the makeup, operation, installation, and adjustment of a variety of major interrelated and/or integrated aircraft systems, subsystems, and assemblies such as fuel and hydraulic systems, flight control systems, instrumentation systems, engines, landing gear assemblies, airframe, and control surfaces. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams. Ability to perform work to close tolerances. Knowledge and skill in the use of standard and specialized tools and test equipment of the trade including fixtures, templates, scales, test stands and external power sources. **Required educational/skills background:** High school diploma or equivalent.
