Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced welder for TIG welding equipment repair and operation on stainless steel, interpretation of technical drawings, and record keeping. Key Highlights: 1. Repair and operation of welding equipment for joints. 2. TIG welding on stainless steel, with and without filler material, and dual welding with gas purging. 3. Interpretation of technical drawings and diagrams for planning. We are looking for a welder with experience to join a company located in El Astillero. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for repairing and operating welding equipment for joint fabrication. Tasks include TIG welding on stainless steel, both with and without filler material, and dual welding with gas purging. Angle grinders will be used to prepare parts; technical drawings and diagrams will be interpreted to plan work; and proper alignment and clamping of components will be ensured. Maintenance of activity and equipment records is required, ensuring safety standards are met, as well as removal of excess material (deburring). A temporary contract is offered, with potential for a stable project. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, from 8:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:30, and Fridays from 8:00 to 13:00. Remuneration is €29,000 gross per annum. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position * Welding certification, equivalent experience, or successful completion of a welding test * Demonstrable experience as a TIG welder for stainless steel * Experience with various welding equipment and procedures (TIG with filler, without filler, gas purging, dual) * Experience using electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, clamps, etc.) * Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams * Knowledge of relevant safety standards and willingness to wear personal protective equipment (face shield, gloves, etc.)
