GMF Railway Maintenance Services, part of the COMSA Group, is a company specialized in the maintenance of railway rolling stock, the manufacturing and marketing of spare parts, and the design of new equipment. We are currently seeking to hire a Railway Wagon Technician in Santander. Your responsibilities will include: * Performing mechanical, electrical, or electronic maintenance and repairs on railway rolling stock according to customer plans, meeting deadlines and quality standards. * Estimating, selecting, and managing materials required to repair or replace defective components. * Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) and railway safety regulations, using personal protective equipment and applying acquired training. * Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics to correctly carry out assigned tasks. Requirements: * Vocational training qualification (intermediate level) in electromechanics or equivalent. * Ability to independently diagnose and resolve faults. * Knowledge of technical symbols and ability to interpret technical schematics. * Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is highly valued. * Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
