Description
This position plays a central role in the quality department of a company in the food industry. The professional will be responsible for supervising and controlling processes related to food safety, hygiene, and product quality throughout the entire production chain. This involves conducting periodic inspections, collecting samples for analysis, and verifying compliance with internal regulations and health authority requirements. Close collaboration with other departments—such as production and logistics—will be essential to ensure quality standards are maintained from raw material receipt through to finished product shipment. Meticulous documentation and recordkeeping of all quality checks performed, as well as management of potential non-conformities, will constitute a fundamental part of daily responsibilities. The ultimate objective is to guarantee that marketed products meet the highest food safety standards and satisfy customer expectations, thereby contributing to the company’s reputation and reliability in the market.
A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Dietetics and Nutrition, or a Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to food science or nutrition, is required. Specific knowledge and practical experience as a nutritionist applied to quality control within an industrial food environment will be valued.
