Job Summary:
Grenergy is seeking a Site Quality Technician to ensure quality monitoring and control during the construction of photovoltaic and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance with quality standards in energy projects.
2. Coordinate with contractors and manage documentation on site.
3. Collaborate with Site Management and teams during project execution.
At Grenergy, we are looking to hire a **Site Quality Technician** to support quality monitoring and control during the construction phase of our photovoltaic and energy storage (BESS) projects.
The selected candidate will work closely with Site Management, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to established quality standards and proper project documentation management.
What will be your responsibilities?
* Monitor on-site work execution according to the established plan.
* Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project-defined quality requirements.
* Manage and review quality documentation generated on site (PPIs, tests, inspections, measurements, and records).
* Track and report on the documentary progress of works.
* Review and supervise field work procedures.
* Verify correct execution of works from civil and/or electrical perspectives.
* Manage and track potential non-conformities, proposing corrective actions when necessary.
* Closely collaborate with Site Management and other involved teams throughout project execution.
* Supervise the quality of works performed by contractors and subcontractors.
What do we expect from you?
* Degree in Industrial Engineering (any specialization) or Vocational Training in technical fields (civil, electrical, or similar).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in site quality roles, construction supervision, or similar functions.
* Residence in Asturias or willingness to work at the project location.
* Knowledge of construction processes and on-site quality control.
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
* Organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Communication and coordination skills with diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to work autonomously and results-oriented.
We particularly value:
* Prior experience in photovoltaic and/or battery energy storage (BESS) projects.
* Experience handling technical documentation and quality procedures in construction projects.
* Basic Occupational Health and Safety (PRL) training (60 hours).
