Job Summary: We are seeking an OHS Technician to assume responsibility for safety, manage occupational health and safety (OHS), and ensure environmental compliance in industrial settings. Promotion of environmental awareness and continuous training Ref.-Nr.: **ES00304** Employment Type: **Full-Time** Contract Type: **Permanent Contract** WHY WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU Rheinmetall Expal Munitions is recruiting an OHS Technician (m/f/d) for its Trubia factory (Asturias). **Main responsibilities include:** * Assuming responsibility for one’s own safety and for the safety of employees, contractors, and visitors. * Committing to the goals and objectives defined at the site/plant/work center, ensuring their implementation within the area of influence and continuous improvement. * Ensuring training and resources necessary to comply with the Life-Saving Rules, the OHS policy, and the OHS management system—including all related updates. * Establishing and maintaining up-to-date KPIs. * Identifying the resources required to ensure compliance with local legislation and internal requirements. * Participating in Safety and Health Committee meetings. * Managing the workplace accident investigation tool. * Conducting and maintaining up-to-date risk assessments and environmental impact assessments arising from operational activities. * Developing an emergency response plan. * Promoting environmental management awareness across the plant. * Ensuring implementation of the plant’s Environmental Management System (ISO 14001). * Promoting training initiatives. WHAT WE REQUIRE * Higher technical degree in Engineering or Chemistry; Master’s in OHS. * Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience in industrial environments. * English proficiency level B2–C1. * Knowledge and application of current regulations, familiarity with emergency plans, and expertise in process risk analysis.
