Job Summary: We are seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in the management and execution of railway construction projects to join Grupo Ortiz’s team. Key Points: 1. Lead planning, organization and supervision of railway construction projects. 2. Manage work teams, subcontractors and suppliers. 3. Promote safety and health on site, controlling technical execution. ### **Description** Grupo Ortiz is looking to incorporate a Railway Construction Manager with specific experience in railway track construction for projects in ANDALUCÍA. The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of demonstrable experience in managing and executing railway construction projects. **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan, organize and supervise all phases of railway construction projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets and quality standards. * Manage work teams, subcontractors and suppliers. * Control technical execution, ensuring correct application of regulations and specifications. * Manage safety and health on site, promoting a preventive culture. * Prepare and monitor work plans, schedules and budgets. * Supervise proper execution of track construction works, including earthworks, track laying, etc. * Resolve technical and construction issues arising during project execution. * Maintain fluent and effective communication with project management, clients and other stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with environmental requirements. ### **Requirements** **Job Requirements:** * Degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience as Construction Manager, including at least 3 years’ specific experience in railway track construction. * In-depth knowledge of techniques and regulations applicable to railway infrastructure construction. * Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Presto, etc.). * Willingness to reside and work in the project area in Cantabria. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in high-speed rail projects. * Knowledge of other railway systems. * Additional training in project management (PMP, etc.). * Technical English proficiency. **Why Grupo Ortiz?**At Grupo Ortiz, we value commitment, excellence and innovation.
