We are seeking to hire a: **Electrical Department Manager** **JOB MISSION** The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the company’s electrical division, coordinating engineering, automation, and control projects, ensuring their proper technical, economic, and operational execution, as well as building and consolidating a specialized technical team. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Lead, plan, and supervise electrical projects related to control systems, monitoring, and power generation. * Design and coordinate the preparation of technical documentation associated with projects: electrical schematics, power calculations, control diagrams, electrical panels, and technical specifications. * Manage scope, timelines, resources, and budget for assigned projects. * Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and technical standards for each project. * Supervise the development and implementation of industrial monitoring, supervision, and control systems (SCADA, HMI, and automation systems). * Coordinate controller, generator set, and regulation system parameterization, as well as supervise PLC programming work. * Ensure proper integration of control systems with industrial communication networks. * Supervise electrical distribution, protection, synchronization, and parallel operation projects for power generation systems. * Coordinate technical interactions with manufacturers, suppliers, and clients throughout all project phases. * Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), as well as commissioning and technical validation processes. * Design the department’s organizational structure and actively participate in the selection, training, and development of the technical team. * Define work methodologies, engineering standards, and best practices within the electrical area. * Provide specialized technical support to service and technical assistance teams during complex interventions. * Serve as the technical reference point for clients and partners regarding electrical and automation systems. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** * University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering, industrial automation, or control projects; experience leading technical teams or departments is highly valued. * Proven experience in designing, developing, and commissioning industrial electrical projects. * Proficiency in electrical design tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar. * Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation systems. * Experience with industrial communications (Modbus, Profibus, CAN Bus, Industrial Ethernet, or similar). * Experience in energy generation, generator sets, power electronics, or advanced control systems is desirable. * Advanced level of technical English. * Willingness to travel nationally and internationally. **CONDITIONS** * Join a well-established company expanding internationally. * Participation in highly complex and value-added technical projects. * A strategic position with direct influence on the organization’s electrical area development. * Permanent contract. * Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience and capabilities. * Continuous training and genuine opportunities for professional development. * High level of autonomy and leadership within the organization.
