Job Summary: We are seeking a nursing assistant for a geriatric residence to assist with feeding residents, administering medication, ensuring personal hygiene, and collaborating on caregiving tasks and transfers. Support with resident transfers and activities We are seeking a nursing assistant for a geriatric residence in Gijón (Asturias). Main responsibilities include assisting residents with meals, administering medication according to established protocols, maintaining personal hygiene at all times, and supporting general caregiving duties at the facility. Assistance will also be provided to residents during transfers to therapies and activities. Candidates must hold a qualification as a Nursing Care Technician (TCAE), a Technician in Care for Dependent Persons, or a Professional Certificate in Socio-Healthcare for Persons in Social Institutions. Having personal transportation is considered an advantage. A temporary contract of 6 months, non-renewable, full-time, is offered. Working hours will rotate between morning shifts (7:15–15:15) and afternoon shifts (14:30–22:30), following a cycle of 3 mornings, 3 afternoons, and 3 days off. Immediate start is required, and salary follows the VIII State Collective Agreement for Dependents’ Care Services.
