In Spain, we have nearly 8\.000 professionals across 13 locations, working on strategic projects for over 200 clients in key sectors—especially banking and insurance. **What Are We Looking For?** A **Banking Functional Analyst**, with particular experience in the **assets** domain (loans, credit, mortgages, amortizations, risk), and with a **technical background in host environments**. We seek a customer-oriented individual with strong analytical capabilities and experience working in distributed teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Act as the liaison between banking business units and technical teams, translating functional requirements into clear and viable solutions. * Analyze functional requirements from the assets domain and define functional and technical specifications for development in host environments. * Document core banking processes, business rules, and functional workflows. * Coordinate and support development teams, ensuring correct implementation of solutions. * Participate in the functional design of complex components and in test validation (unit, integration, and UAT). * Engage with business users to understand needs, identify improvements, and propose optimizations. * Ensure functional quality and compliance with internal standards. **Requirements** * Prior experience in **host environments**, and programming in **COBOL or PL/1**. * Solid knowledge of **DB2** and mainframe architecture. * Experience in the **banking sector**, ideally in the **assets** area (loans, credit, mortgages, risk). * Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and in offshore/onshore environments. * Experience in multinational projects or large financial institutions is highly valued. **What We Offer** * Opportunity to participate in innovative projects for leading financial institutions. * Continuous professional development and access to official certifications. * Flexibility and work-life balance. * Stable employment and competitive social benefits. * Access to DXC Learning and cutting-edge technologies. * An inclusive, collaborative culture with strong social commitment. **Interested?** Join DXC and become part of the digital transformation of the banking sector.
