Linux User Support Technician

We analyze, create, design, plan, develop, advise, build, and operate high-tech solutions. **Your responsibilities:** * Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including hardware, general and specific software, and network connectivity problems. * Log and track incidents in our helpdesk system. * Collaborate with other team members to resolve technical issues. * Prepare technical manuals for installation and/or configuration of IT tools. * Layout, install, and configure user equipment. * Install and configure IT software tools. * Use and maintain hardware and software inventory tools. **What we expect from you:** * Higher Vocational Training Certificate (FP Técnico Superior) in Network Systems Administration or related studies. * Minimum of 4 years’ experience in this role. * Intermediate-to-advanced level of English. * Solid hands-on experience and knowledge of Linux environments: installation, administration, diagnostics, and incident resolution (mandatory). * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (environment, basic administration, and support). * Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining equipment, operating systems, and applications. * Ability to diagnose and resolve both hardware and software incidents. * Experience using ticketing tools (ISTM) and incident tracking. * Ability to efficiently manage incidents, requests, and user inquiries. * Knowledge of preventive and corrective system maintenance. * Contribute to documenting solutions and collaborate with other technical teams. * Strong communication skills, user orientation, and teamwork ability. **What we offer you:** These are some of the benefits you’ll enjoy at Sener: * Indefinite-term contract. * Join a multidisciplinary and highly qualified team working on innovative, internationally scoped technology projects. * Continue your professional development with us through a wide range of training opportunities (technical, soft skills, languages, etc.). * Take care of yourself with our physical and emotional well-being program: sports, workshops, physiotherapy, etc. * Optimize your salary with our flexible compensation plan (meal card, private health insurance, childcare vouchers, etc.) and benefit from our life and accident insurance. * Flexibilize your work style!
