Pozuelo de Alarcón Full-time Permanent employee **Position Mission** ------------------------- Ensure the proper functioning of cloud infrastructure and operational environments supporting application deployment for internal and external customers, maintaining a high service level, driving operational efficiency, and contributing to the organization’s continuous IT improvement.**Responsibilities** ------------- **Cloud Infrastructure** * Ensure availability, stability, performance, and continuity of cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP) and corporate systems. * Operate and evolve GCP and Azure environments: provisioning, configuration, administration, and support of services and infrastructure. * Define, control, and maintain up-to-date infrastructure, service, and asset configurations, ensuring traceability and consistency. * Administer Windows and Linux systems: patching, monitoring, and backups. * Design and maintain network connectivity, segmentation, firewalls, and access policies. **Security and Compliance** * Manage cloud identities, access, and security: roles, MFA, conditional access, permission governance, and SSO integrations. * Implement and maintain security controls, auditing, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance. **Operations and ITSM** * Operate with urgency, ensuring adherence to service levels and results-oriented operations. * Coordinate changes, deployments, and go-live activities, validating prerequisites, dependencies, and rollback plans. * Manage incidents, problems, and root cause analysis, coordinating corrective and preventive actions. * Develop, refine, and document ITSM policies, processes, and procedures. * Collaborate with development, architecture, security, networking, and support teams on ITSM processes. **Automation and Observability** * Automate provisioning, configuration changes, and recurring tasks using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). * Manage observability: alerts, logs, metrics, and dashboards for early incident detection. **Continuous Improvement and FinOps** * Analyze operational data, identify trends, and propose improvements to stability, efficiency, and user experience. * Drive processes, metrics, and procedures that enhance IT efficiency and cost-effectiveness. * Participate in GCP migration, modernization, and cost optimization (FinOps) projects. * Lead FinOps practices: tagging, budgets, cost alerts, and optimization **Management and Documentation** * Participate in evaluation, selection, and acquisition of cloud solutions, and manage vendor relationships and contracts. * Document architecture, standards, procedures, and best practices for knowledge transfer. **Software to Manage / Administer** * Sage 50 * CDATA Sync * Wind Sim * In\-House developed applications on third-party platforms (Power Apps, Salesforce) and open source (GLPI, BitWarden, N8N..) * Gurobi * Tagetik (consolidation and budgeting) * Arcgis (ESRI) **Requirements** -------------- * **Experience:** Minimum **5 to 7 years** in Systems Administration or Cloud Ops roles, with at least **2\-3 years** specialized in **GCP/Azure** infrastructures. * **Education:** Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent technical qualification (Higher Vocational Training with solid experience). * **Cloud & Infrastructure:** Advanced management of **GCP** (preferred) and **Azure** environments, including critical services such as GKE, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL. * **Automation:** Proven experience in **Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)** using **Terraform**, and scripting languages (Bash/Python). * **Systems and Networking:** Administration of hybrid **Windows/Linux** environments, network segmentation, firewalls, and VPN connectivity. * **Security:** Implementation of **IAM** policies, identity management, MFA, and access governance. * **Business Software:** Familiarity with administration of applications such as **Sage 50**, **Salesforce**, or consolidation tools (Tagetik) is desirable. **Who Are We?** ------------------- We are an energy sector company with over 20 years of experience, present across the entire value chain of renewable energy generation.
