Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer for a strategic project in the banking and financial sector, focused on mission-critical solutions and high-performance systems. Opportunities for professional growth and development Location: Boadilla del Monte, Madrid Work Model: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite) Salary: €40,000 gross annual Benefits: Stock Options We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join a strategic project within the banking and financial sector, contributing to the development and evolution of mission-critical solutions with a strong technical component and focus on high-performance systems. You will work with technologies such as Python and C\+\+, participating in technical design, performance optimization, and service integration within distributed computing grid environments. Main Responsibilities: * Development and maintenance of backend software with emphasis on performance, stability, and scalability. * Advanced programming in Python. * Development and optimization of C\+\+ components. * Integration and consumption of APIs for inter-system communication. * Working with in-memory databases such as Redis and/or Valkey. * Deployment, operation, and maintenance of services in containerized environments and Kubernetes platforms. * Participation in SOA-based architectures. * Collaboration with technical teams in designing efficient and robust solutions. * Analysis and resolution of complex incidents in production environments. * Application of best practices in development, testing, and technical documentation. Requirements: * English proficiency at C1 level or equivalent. * Solid experience as a backend developer. * Advanced experience in Python for software development. * Demonstrable experience in C\+\+. * Knowledge and experience with Redis and/or Valkey. * Experience in API integration and consumption. * Understanding of SOA architecture. * Experience in Zero Grid, TIBCO DataSynapse, IBM Symphony, or similar distributed grid environments. * Demonstrable experience in deploying, operating, and maintaining services on Kubernetes and containerized environments. * Ability to work autonomously in complex technical environments.
