We are currently seeking to incorporate a Senior COBOL professional into a stable project in Madrid, within a host technology environment with strong emphasis on core systems. This position targets professionals with solid experience in evolutionary and corrective maintenance, technical analysis, and work on business-critical legacy architectures. The candidate must demonstrate technical seniority in mainframe environments and proven experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and—especially—IDMS (Integrated Database Management System). This is a strategic requirement for the role; therefore, hands-on, operational experience with this technology is mandatory. We offer immediate incorporation into a Madrid-based project with a hybrid 3/2 model, within a professional context that demands autonomy, technical communication skills, and quality orientation in highly demanding environments. The scheduled working hours are 42 hours per week from September to June, and 30 hours per week in July and August.
