Propose and implement system improvements DESCRIPTION If you are passionate about systems administration and want to be part of a company transforming the real estate sector, Housfy is seeking a Sysadmin eager to learn, grow, and ensure our infrastructure remains robust, secure, and scalable. General Responsibilities * Understand the business and its needs * Propose and implement improvements * Ensure system stability and scalability * Promote initiatives to reduce costs while understanding trade-offs * Execute planned projects, seeking optimal solutions * Promote actions that enhance cybersecurity * Ensure necessary mechanisms are in place to prevent data loss (backups, etc.) * Document current systems and train team members * Challenge the status quo to pursue excellence while understanding trade-offs. More Specific Responsibilities * Define realistic downtime and measure it over time * Create and maintain infrastructure required for new and existing software * Provide support to Housfy’s technical or non-technical teams * Measure and control infrastructure costs for optimization * Manage the contingency plan (backups, disaster scenarios, etc.) * Record specific videos documenting common tasks to assist other colleagues when no systems team member is available * Set up necessary alerts to detect issues as early as possible and apply required solutions * Proactively research and propose new tools and solutions supporting the company’s objectives Depending on availability, you will also: * Create and optimize pipelines using GitHub Actions * Manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform * Improve and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, ECR, ECS, RabbitMQ, Route 53, etc.) Do you want to be part of an ambitious, growing project?
