Job Summary: Tragsa seeks a Pilot for fluvial routes in Santo Estevo and Os Peares, responsible for vessel operation, passenger transport, navigation, and maintenance supervision. Daily supervision of the vessel's condition and reporting of maintenance requirements **Number of Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsa **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Empresa de Transformación Agraria, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., the parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in rural development and nature conservation works, seeks to hire a Pilot to operate the fluvial routes of the Santo Estevo and Os Peares reservoirs. **Work Location** -------------------- * Lugo Fluvial Route Service along the Ribeira Sacra region, departing from the Ponte do Sil (Monforte de Lemos) and Belesar Pobo (O Saviñao) embarkation points. **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Performing duties inherent to piloting vessels on inland waters for passenger transport on fluvial routes, assuming full responsibility for the vessel and its facilities, as well as for the crew and passengers. * Conducting navigation maneuvers, directing docking and undocking operations, and supervising boarding and disembarking procedures for passengers. * Performing daily inspections of the vessel and its facilities—including checking fluid levels, cleanliness status, etc.—and being responsible for reporting required maintenance, potential malfunctions, and refueling when necessary. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the stated requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by undergoing evaluation tests and/or attaching the required documentation in the “Annexes” section of the application questionnaire. The TRAGSA Group reserves the right to request, at any stage of the process, documentary evidence supporting the information provided in the application, as well as to require additional details from the curriculum vitae whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Harbour Master certification or other Merchant Marine qualifications authorizing passenger transport. ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Spanish Class B driving license, currently in force. **Merit Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Additional Meritorious Factors** * Proven professional experience as a vessel pilot specifically for passenger transport. * Complementary training in navigation, naval mechanics, tourism, communication and social skills, geography (particularly focused on the Ribeira Sacra region and the province of Lugo), ethnography, history, environmental studies, or occupational risk prevention, completed no earlier than five years ago. * General proven professional experience as a vessel pilot. * Additional qualifications relevant to the position. **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 9 months + Full-time working schedule + Start date in March The application period is open from today, 24/02/2026, until 02/03/2026 at 23:59 (Peninsular Time).
