Maintenance Technician for Hotel – Indefinite Contract

In Segovia, maintenance staff are needed for a hotel. The role involves ensuring the proper functioning of all facilities and equipment: HVAC (boilers, air conditioning, ventilation), electricity (lighting, distribution boards, sockets), plumbing (leaks, faucets, drains), as well as masonry and painting tasks. Additionally, furniture in guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces is maintained, along with pool, gym, and sauna equipment. Coordination with reception and housekeeping is carried out daily to resolve any incidents that arise. The contract is indefinite. Working hours follow a rotating schedule from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., including one hour for lunch. Weeks alternate between Monday–Friday (with Saturday and Sunday off) and Tuesday–Saturday (with Monday and Sunday off). Salary is determined according to the applicable collective agreement, based on experience. Technical training and hands-on experience are required, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward problem prevention. Mandatory technical training in fields such as electricity, maintenance, or HVAC; preferably a Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle. A minimum of 1 year’s experience in installations or maintenance is required. Prior experience in the hospitality sector is highly valued. Solid knowledge of general maintenance and the ability to practically and efficiently resolve incidents are essential.
