Interdisciplinary collaboration and fluent communication. A packaging machinery manufacturer with offices in the Vallès Occidental region is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Design Engineer. RESPONSIBILITIES * Execute production projects defined in the work plan, coordinating and directing project management. * Interpret drawings and schematics. * Resolve incidents arising from the department’s technical management. * Develop technical solutions to meet customer requirements for new machines and after-sales support. * Collaborate with other departments during project development, establishing information flows and relationships. * Ensure workplace order, classification, and cleanliness. * Guarantee compliance with established safety, health, and environmental measures. * Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent higher education qualification. * Demonstrate a minimum of five years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in machinery or capital goods manufacturing (preferably in end-of-line projects). * Possess solid proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and DraftSight. * High-level proficiency in Spanish, Catalan, and English. * We seek analytical, proactive, communicative, solution-oriented professionals with strong attention to detail. * Permanent contract with a sector-leading company. * Attractive remuneration package. * Flexible working hours: split shifts Monday to Thursday, and intensive Friday.
