As part of our positioning as a leading company in the Defense sector, we are seeking a **Weapons Systems Verification & Qualification Lead Engineer / Weapons Systems Verification, Validation & Qualification Lead Engineer**, to join the **Indra Weapons** environment and assume a key role in the **verification, validation, and integration of high-complexity weapon and missile systems**.
What will you do?
* Define and lead **verification and validation (V&V)** activities for weapon and missile systems.
* Be responsible for **full-system qualification**, covering:
+ Missile segment (airframe, propulsion, GNC, payload).
+ Launch segment.
+ **Command and Control (C2)** segment.
+ **Datalinks and communications**.
* Ensure an **end-to-end system vision**, understanding complex technical interdependencies.
* Coordinate and influence **multiple technical teams** without direct hierarchical authority.
* Actively participate in **mission system integration**.
* Clearly and structurally explain complex architectures to diverse stakeholders.
* Defend technical decisions before **customer and management**.
* Lead **full-system testing** and advanced integration activities.
* Serve as the system’s technical reference within the project.
What are we looking for in you?

✅ **5–10 years** of experience in **integration, verification, and qualification of complex systems**.
✅ Solid knowledge of the **defense sector**, especially weapon and missile systems.
✅ Experience in **system integration** and full-system testing.
✅ Ability to understand and govern **complex end-to-end architectures**.
✅ High **technical credibility** and cross-functional influence capability.
Technical Knowledge
* Integration with **mission systems** (advanced level).
* **System integration methodologies** (advanced level).
Functional Knowledge
* System integration (ATM).
* Direction and execution of **full-system testing**.
* **System architecture and solutions** in Defense.
✅ Strong technical communication skills and results orientation.
✅ Technical leadership capability without formal authority.
✅ **High-level English**, spoken and written.
✅ Availability to work in **Torrejón de Ardoz**, with a **hybrid work mode**.
