### **Responsibilities**
?? Do you have experience in MIG/MAG welding and want to learn robotics? Or do you have a background in automation or engineering and wish to specialize in industrial welding technologies?
At Solintal, we are opening a position that bridges both fields: welding and industrial robotics.
We do not require expertise in both areas from day one. We seek individuals with a solid technical foundation in one area and enthusiasm to develop in the other.
We will tailor your training according to your profile, enabling professional growth and acquisition of knowledge in robotic welding, automation, and industrial robotics.
?? Choose your entry path
?? Welder Profile
Bring your experience and proficiency in MIG/MAG welding, blueprint interpretation, and weld bead quality control. We will support your development in robotics, automation, and robotic arm operation.
?? Robotics / Engineering Profile
Bring your technical education in Industrial Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics, Engineering, or industrial processes. We will teach you the fundamentals of MIG/MAG welding, welding parameters, materials, and quality criteria.
?? What will be your mission?
You will join the Production department, working with robotic arms, automated equipment, and MIG/MAG welding processes, under a development plan aimed at transforming you into a specialist in robotic welding and industrial automation.
Your progression will depend on your starting point and experience; therefore, we do not expect you to know everything upon joining.
?? Main Responsibilities
• Operate and supervise robotic welding arms and automated equipment.
• Perform and/or supervise robotic MIG/MAG welding operations according to blueprints, technical specifications, and established procedures.
• Prepare, adjust, and position parts prior to the welding process.
• Perform basic parameter adjustments and commissioning of robotic arms and welding equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, references, and technical specifications.
• Conduct visual inspections and self-checks for quality during and after the process.
• Verify correct execution of the weld bead and detect possible defects or deviations.
• Identify and report incidents occurring in the production process.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering teams to resolve incidents and improve processes.
• Perform basic maintenance and checks on tools, robotic arms, and associated machinery.
• Participate in optimizing automated processes and continuous improvement.
• Maintain workplace order and organization following the 5S methodology.
• Comply with established safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Participate in the customized technical training plan designed to develop your competencies in robotic welding and automation.
### **Requirements**
What are we looking for?
We do not seek a single, uniform profile. We value two distinct entry paths:
Path 1 – Welding
• Demonstrable experience in MIG/MAG welding.
• Knowledge of blueprint interpretation.
• Knowledge of part preparation and adjustment.
• Experience in weld bead quality control.
• Welding certification is desirable.
• Enthusiasm for learning robotics and industrial automation.
Path 2 – Robotics / Automation / Engineering
• Higher Technical Degree in Industrial Automation and Robotics, Industrial Mechatronics, Electronic Maintenance, Engineering, or related technical training.
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, industrial processes, or blueprint interpretation.
• Experience with robotic arms, industrial robots, or automated equipment is desirable.
• Prior welding experience is not required: we will train you in MIG/MAG and welding processes.
• Enthusiasm for developing expertise in industrial welding.
For both profiles:
• Ability to learn and grow within an industrial environment.
• Responsible, proactive individual with a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to identify and report incidents.
• Crane bridge operation skills are desirable.
• Prior experience in the industrial sector is desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
A development plan designed for you
One distinguishing feature of this position is that your training will be tailored to your starting knowledge.
If you come from welding, you will enhance your knowledge in:
MIG/MAG Welding → Robotic Welding → Robotics → Automation
If you come from robotics or engineering, you will develop your knowledge in:
Automation → Robotics → Welding Processes → MIG/MAG Parameters → Weld Quality
The goal is for you to progressively become a professional with a holistic understanding of robotic welding—capable of comprehending both the welding process itself and the technology enabling it.
### **Offered**
What do we offer?
• Initial temporary contract with the possibility of conversion to an indefinite contract, supporting stability and professional development.
• Full-time schedule: 1,760 annual effective working hours.
• 22 working days of vacation per year, as stipulated by collective agreement.
• Customized technical training plan based on your experience and profile.
• Training and development in MIG/MAG welding, robotic welding, robotics, and industrial automation.
• Opportunity to build a professional career within a technologically advanced industrial environment.
• Initial training on a split shift schedule:
o Monday to Thursday: 07:50 – 17:10.
o Friday: 07:25 – 14:30.
• Subsequently, rotating shifts:
o Morning shift: 05:40 – 14:00.
o Afternoon shift: 14:00 – 22:20.
o Friday: intensive shift.
• Fridays end earlier so you can enjoy your weekend!
• Stable, collaborative, and supportive work environment.
• Join a growing company with international expansion.
• Practical daily benefits: cafeteria, vending machines, parking, etc.
• Opportunities for professional advancement into technical roles related to Production, Robotic Welding, Automation, Robotics, or Maintenance.
Why Solintal?
Because we do not merely aim to fill a position—we aim to develop technical talent.
If you are a welder seeking to transition into robotics, or if you hold training in automation/engineering and wish to specialize in industrial welding, we want to meet you.
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to combine two fields increasingly vital to industry:
WELDING \+ ROBOTICS \= NEW PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Your experience is the starting point. We provide the rest.
