Work Flexibility: Field\-based **The Job's Mission** The Product Specialist – Manual \& Robotic is responsible for setting up, rolling out and managing the business for a specifically designated product or grouping of products in a designated area. This individual is responsible for supporting agents and distributors in the sales of the designated product or grouping of products. He/She will provide customer support and teamwork with regional franchise, particularly through partnership with the sales teams. He/She provides clinical product support to end users along with guidance and assistance during Mako surgical procedures. **Learn more about the Mako robot:** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v\=s\-hSfOKrAZI https://www.stryker.com/us/en/portfolios/orthopaedics/joint\-replacement/mako\-robotic\-arm\-assisted\-surgery.html **Learn more about the Joint Replacement implants:** https://www.stryker.com/us/en/portfolios/orthopaedics/joint\-replacement.html ***Key Activities \& Accountabilities*** * Sell /demonstrate product lines within the operating theatre and clinical environmen * Serve as front\-line clinical and technical support to surgeons and hospital staff before, during and after surgical procedures. * Train and guide surgeons and hospital staff in the use of Stryker’s Mako robot including set\-up, breakdown and related intra\-operative activities to ensure precise and successful surgical outcomes. * Use proprietary software to prepare pre\-operative CT scans for assigned cases and assist surgeons in pre\-operative implant planning, implant sizing and positioning. * Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to the robot independently or field escalation matters appropriately. * Partner with Field Service team effectively to ensure technical issues are resolved and maintenance is delivered. * Build knowledge of Stryker implants and instrumentation and mastery of the robot and its different applications in order to become a trusted “go\-to” for all case coverage types (robotic and manual). * Educate surgeons and staff on the clinical benefits of the robot and best practices with confidence, enthusiasm and respect. * Complete Mako 101 and 201 training for all robotic\-assisted surgery applications. Obtain certification for each application needed to perform independent case coverage. * Complete JR 101 and 201 training and develop an understanding of all basic manual procedures. * Develop ability to competently cover complex primary and revision hip and knee procedures. * Provide customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new customers * Plan, execute and monitor all measures necessary to guarantee achievement of regional sales budget This encompasses in particular: + Monthly Sales action plans coordinated with primary product sales team + Customer care for hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales\-oriented consultation + Organization and conduction of training. + Identification of local KOLs, proposition of local action plans + Coordination of the distribution and logistics of products with the support of the related manager. + Regular reporting to Sales Managers, of the development of sales, and adaptation to the circumstances of the market + Accomplishment of Sales Actions and control of hospital management + Knowledge of the range of products and their surgical techniques **What you need** Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree within the field of biomedical engineering, medical technology, health sciences or Medical Certification (i.e. CST, PT, CPT, etc.) * Minimum 2 years of work experience as Product specialist, Clinical specialist, Nurse, or Biomedical engineer in the healthcare industry * Experience in operating room is highly preferred * Fluency in Spanish and English is required (minimum C1 level in both languages). * Valid driver’s license Preferred: * Master’s degree within the field of biomedical engineering, medical technology, health sciences * Experience with clinical training and education programs * Demonstrated knowledge of business administrative and clerical procedures and systems (e.g., word processing, file management and record maintenance) **Role details** * **Territory:** Castilla La Mancha * **Based Location:** Ciudad Real * **Type:** 100% Field * **Travel percentage:** 40% (for training purposes and to Madrid for extra cover) * **Presence in OR:** 70% **What We Offer** * **Company Car.** As this is a field\-based role with regular on\-site meetings with customers, you will be provided with a customized company car including fuel card and all services. * **MAKO Product Training.** To become a certified MAKO Product Specialist, you will complete a 6\-month product training in English including co\-travelling, surgery’s observation in the operating room and a final exam. * **Flat hierarchies and responsibility.** Through flat hierarchies, we strengthen the initiative and willingness of our employees to take over responsible tasks. * **We grow talent.** At Stryker we offer great personal and internal career development for our employees, with the possibility to make both vertical and lateral position movement. * **Team spirit \& engagement.** We create engaged and inclusive teams that encourage colleagues to share their diverse perspectives and opinions. * **Competitive salary.** With us, you will receive a competitive salary commensurate with your job. * **Recognition of your performance.** At our company, outstanding individual and cross\-functional team performance is rewarded.
