Would you like to be a part of it? **Job Description** Production Engineer Responsibilities: * Provide technical support to production areas, optimising processes to achieve OEE objectives and production KPIs * Analyse and improve production efficiency, implementing strategies to reduce waste and enhance performance * Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes * Collaborate with quality control and product development teams to ensure products meet required standards and specifications * Troubleshoot equipment issues, implement preventive maintenance schedules, and liaise with suppliers to resolve technical problems * Monitor key production metrics, reporting findings to management and recommending innovative solutions * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards * Drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of efficiency and quality across the organisation **Qualifications** Essential Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering, or a related field * Proficiency in MS Office suite and administrative tasks * Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in production engineering or a related field * Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies * Familiarity with quality control processes and standards * Understanding of health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments * Experience with process analysis and optimization techniques * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (CAD tools) * Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross\-functional teams * Lean Manufacturing: Basic knowledge of Lean elements such as: 5S, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Kanban, Point\-of\-Use. * Pokayoke, Process Mapping, SMED, etc. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a commitment to driving efficiency and quality in production processes.
