Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Operator to ensure the proper functioning of industrial facilities, applying food safety and environmental management protocols. Key Responsibilities: 1. Management and supervision of maintenance tasks We are looking for a **Maintenance Operator** to guarantee the proper functioning of our industrial facilities. The selected candidate will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with food safety (IFS, BRC) and environmental management (ISO 14001) protocols, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. **Education:** * Initial or intermediate vocational training in electrical and/or automatic installations or equivalent **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance. **Technical Knowledge:** * Industrial refrigeration. * Basic electricity and industrial automation. * Plumbing (installation and repair). * Transmission mechanics (electric motors, bearings, traction components). * Temperature control in processes (probes, controllers). * Pumping and fluid transport systems. **Responsibilities:** **Correctly implement General Hygiene Plans affecting maintenance:** * Maintenance of equipment and facilities. * Maintenance of cold chain and weighing equipment; calibrations. * Waste management plan. * Foreign body monitoring plan (metal, glass, wood). * Potable water general plan. * In the absence of the manager, conduct follow-up and recordkeeping generated during mandatory technical inspections / daily maintenance, etc. * Supervision of service providers (transportation, repairs, maintenance, calibration, etc.). * Occupational and environmental prevention measures and emergency plans. * Monitoring of water, electricity, and propane consumption. * Custody / coordination and assistance regarding mandatory technical inspections of company facilities, as well as all industry logbooks. * Assist the Maintenance Manager with assigned tasks. * Perform preventive maintenance under food safety protocols. * Monitor correct operation of facilities. * Monitor wear of replaceable parts. * Monitor fuel levels and other elements required for facility operation. **Perform preventive maintenance tasks on facilities:** * Electricity. * Mechanical (oil levels, lubrication of transmission components, geared motors, etc.). * Internal transport equipment: pallet trucks and forklifts; electric elevators / freight lifts. * Liquid transfer pumps. * Coordinate work with the Maintenance Manager. * Manage and control (ISO 14001) waste generated during preventive maintenance. * Monitor electricity, water, and propane consumption. * Monitor propane levels. **Offer:** * Permanent position. * Full-time employment. * Standard working hours: 7:00–15:00, with flexibility according to organizational needs. * Indefinite-term contract. * Training and development plan. **Workplace:** ALFOCAN, Príncipe de Gales Industrial Park, s/n, 41140 Isla Mayor.
