The application period will end on **12/02/2025** at 12:00 PM. **APPLICATION SUBMISSION** To participate in the selection process, the following supporting documents must be attached to the candidate's profile: * National ID (DNI) * Curriculum Vitae * Employment Record or negative employment record/negative affiliation report * Academic degrees * Certification of training related to the position * Documentation proving merits listed in Annex I of the job posting * Employment contracts **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** ------------------------------------ * Participate in operating pump chamber equipment (pumps, valves, electrical panels, etc.) and solve potential issues. * Assist in necessary tasks during dock maneuvers for ship entries and exits (opening/closing dock gates, flooding/dewatering docks, floating dock gates). * Participate in minor maintenance tasks for pump chamber and dock gate equipment. * Support in case of failures in dock maneuver components (valves, transmissions, pumps, etc.). * Monitor forward/aft draft readings of the dock during maneuvers. * Assist in verifying hydraulic opening and closing of gate valves, and in case of failure, manually operate them. * Assist in verifying the correct sequence when starting main dewatering pumps. * Assist in verifying that the dock siphoning system functions correctly when main dewatering pumps are stopped. * Assist in checking during maneuvers that there is no water leakage from main pump packing, and if so, ensure the dewatering system operates correctly. * Assist in verifying that the pneumatic air injection system for the gate functions properly at the precise moment of operation. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- The following vocational training qualifications in the **Mechanical Manufacturing** knowledge area will be valued: * Technician in Machining. * Advanced Technician in Production Programming in Mechanical Manufacturing.
