We are currently seeking a **Service Coordinator** to join a major industrial-sector company.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising the execution of industrial construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, schedule, and technical specification standards throughout all project phases.
**What responsibilities would you have?**
* Coordinate the application of general prevention and safety principles in the works to be carried out.
* Coordinate on-site activities to ensure that contractors and subcontractors consistently and responsibly apply the preventive action principles outlined in Article 15 of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law during project execution—and, in particular, in the tasks or activities referred to in Article 10 of Royal Decree 1627/1997\.
* Approve the Safety and Health Plan prepared by the contractor, and, where applicable, any modifications introduced therein. The technical supervision team shall assume this function when appointment of a coordinator is not required.
* Organize the anticipated coordination of business activities.
* Coordinate actions and control functions related to the correct application of work methods.
* Implement necessary measures to ensure only authorized personnel may access the site.
* Article 10 R.D. 1627/1997\. General principles applicable during project execution.
* In accordance with the Occupational Risk Prevention Law, the preventive action principles set forth in its Article 15 shall apply during project execution—and, in particular, to the following tasks:
* Maintaining order and cleanliness on site.
* Selecting locations for workstations and work areas, considering access conditions, and determining routes or zones for movement or circulation.
* Handling various materials and using auxiliary equipment.
* Maintenance, pre-commissioning inspection, and periodic inspection of installations and devices required for project execution, to correct defects potentially affecting worker safety and health.
* Delimiting and preparing storage and deposit zones for various materials—particularly hazardous substances or materials.
* Collection of hazardous materials used.
* Storage and disposal or removal of waste and debris.
* Interactions and incompatibilities with any other type of work or activity conducted on site or near the worksite.
* Supervising that project specifications include a dedicated section addressing safety measures.
* Promoting preventive measures both during design and execution phases.
* Advising the client on safety and health matters.
* Coordinating on-site activities to enforce safety and prevention regulations.
* Verifying that the site features appropriate signage and access control.
* Requesting modifications to the Safety Plan when project circumstances require it.
* Safeguarding the Incident Logbook.
* Holding periodic coordination meetings with all companies participating in the project.
* Creating an archive of action items arising from site visits or meetings, assigning responsibilities, and tracking implementation.
* Validating and managing specific protocols requested for high-risk work activities.
* Monitoring compliance with the Safety Plans of service providers participating in the project.
* Validating and managing specific protocols requested for work involving special risks.
* Ensuring adherence to safety procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
#### **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
* Certified and registered technician.
* Advanced qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention.
* Minimum of 7 years’ experience in similar roles.
* Teamwork aptitude.
* Proficiency in office software.
* Experience with EPM\-Project.
* Experience with MAXIMO, SGD, and Work Permit Management applications.
* Valid driver’s license.
### **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
* Prior experience in Oil\&Gas industrial projects.
* Experience in petrochemical complexes or refineries.
* Specific knowledge of the Tarragona Industrial Complex.
