The selected candidate will participate in developing mission-critical software operating very close to hardware, on advanced architectures, with emphasis on quality, reliability, and compliance with standards. This is an ideal position for professionals with experience in C programming in low-level embedded environments who wish to consolidate their careers in complex embedded systems. On-site location in Getafe. **What You’ll Do in This Project?** ------------------------------ The successful candidate will be responsible for: * Developing software in **C for real-time embedded systems**, complying with standards such as **MISRA\-C**. * Performing low-level programming below the operating system level, working directly on microprocessors and microcontrollers. * Participating in **low-level integration tasks**, including BSPs, bootloaders, and peripheral drivers. * Working on hardware architectures such as **ARM and PowerPC**. * Development and integration in **RTOS** environments (e.g., VxWorks, PikeOS) and **ARINC\-653** architectures. * Implementing and handling **communication protocols** (ARINC\-429, MIL\-STD\-1553B, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C). * Collaborating in the development of systems for safety-critical environments with stringent quality requirements. * Using **Python** for support tools, testing, or automation. * Participating in activities aligned with certification standards such as **DO\-178C**. **Your Profile** ------------- To thrive in this role, you should be comfortable with: * Experience in **C programming in low-level embedded environments**. * Knowledge of **computer architecture** oriented toward embedded systems. * Experience working with **microprocessors or microcontrollers**. * Familiarity with **RTOS** and real-time systems. * Knowledge of **hardware communication protocols**. * Experience integrating software close to hardware (drivers, BSP, bootloaders). * Knowledge of **Python**. * Familiarity with quality and certification standards such as **DO\-178C**. **Especially Valued:** * Experience in critical domains (aerospace, defense, industrial, automotive). * Knowledge of analog and digital signal processing. * Experience with secure development standards (MISRA or others).
