**Company:** ------------ Marsh **Description:** ---------------- We are seeking a talented individual to join Orizon, our Underwriting Agency, as part of the **Underwriting** team, on a **permanent contract.** This position will be based in **Madrid**. **You will be responsible for** Analyzing, underwriting, and developing business across Property & Casualty, Liability, Accident, Travel Assistance, and Life insurance lines—with a primary focus on Property & Casualty—ensuring appropriate risk selection and contributing to the profitable growth of the Underwriting Agency. Corporate business and public administration development. The role combines technical judgment, analytical capability, and commercial activity with brokers. **Underwriting** Corporate risk analysis: technical analysis, exposure assessment, documentation review Preparation of customized quotations and proposals tailored to each client and sector Negotiation of terms and conditions Review of wordings, clauses, limits, deductibles, etc. **Commercial Development** * Broker relationship management: opportunity handling, visits, presentations, and follow-up * Identification of new opportunities * Development of commercial materials, proposals, and value propositions **Operational Management of Won Business** * Coordination with the production team for policy issuance * Account and client monitoring, claims experience, renewals, etc. * Coordination with the claims team **Analysis and Reporting** * Preparation of activity reports, KPIs, and business metrics * Preparation of presentations for commercial meetings, reporting to insurers, etc. * Support in analyzing and updating existing products * Support in developing new products/binders (drafting conditions, pricing, contracts, etc.) **What You Need** * Minimum 2 years’ experience in an underwriting or broking department (insurer, MGA, or broker) * Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field * Advanced English proficiency * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused profile * Interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams * Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn and grow, and strong orientation toward teamwork and results **Why Join Our Team** * Opportunity to work directly with the most relevant industrial-sector clients—both national and international. * An inclusive and collaborative environment, with high-performing teams and international exposure. * Professional growth opportunities and leadership support from highly respected and experienced professionals. * Flexible working arrangements. * Marsh’s global scale and presence offer diverse opportunities, benefits, and rewards focused on well-being. .
