Description

We are seeking a proactive and strategic **International Logistics Manager** to lead our export operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our goods cross borders efficiently, meeting delivery deadlines and current legal regulations, optimizing costs, and managing relationships with freight forwarders and customs agents. **Responsibilities** ---------- **Key Responsibilities** * **Operations Management:** Supervise and coordinate the full flow of international shipments (road, sea, and air). * **Customs Compliance:** Ensure compliance with foreign trade regulations, tariff management, **Incoterms 2020**, and required documentation (Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Certificates of Origin). * **Cost Optimization:** Negotiate rates with transportation providers and logistics operators (3PL/4PL) to improve profitability. * **Inventory Control:** Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure that preparation of international orders meets required packaging and labeling standards. * **Issue Resolution:** Manage claims, customs delays, or cargo loss, implementing rapid solutions. * **KPIs and Reporting:** Monitor performance indicators (transit times, cost per route, supplier reliability) and report to the Operations Management team. **Requirements** -------------- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics and Transportation, Business Administration, or related field. **Experience:** Minimum of 3–5 years in logistics management roles with an international focus. **Languages:** Additional languages will be valued depending on target markets. **Technical Knowledge:** Expert-level knowledge of Incoterms and customs legislation. * Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Navision, Oracle) and Excel. **Soft Skills:** Negotiation ability, analytical mindset, stress resilience, and excellent communication skills. **Benefits** -------------- **Contract:** Permanent, full-time employment. **Compensation:** Competitive salary commensurate with experience. **Work Environment:** Opportunity for professional development within a company undergoing rapid international expansion.
