Today, Sephora continues to break conventions to advance its mission: championing a world of inspiration and inclusion where everyone can celebrate their beauty. **You’ll stand out and thrive in this role if you’re ready to actively perform the following responsibilities:** Lead the execution of store construction, renovation, and enhancement projects, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and consistency with brand image and corporate guidelines, while rigorously meeting defined scope, budget, and timeline objectives. **OBJECTIVES:** **Project Management (opening/remodeling/closing):** (i) Adaptation and supervision of works for stores and shop-in-shops. (ii) Management, coordination, and motivation of architects, engineers, and suppliers throughout the construction process. (iii) Control of timelines, budgets, and quality at each project phase. **Technical Coordination:** (i) Manage preliminary technical due diligence for construction projects; prepare draft designs in collaboration with consultants to verify all required documents, drawings, and permits—assessing technical feasibility and timelines. (ii) Coordination with architects, engineers, and municipal technicians, plus periodic site visits. (iii) Evaluate and ensure compliance with local regulations (safety, accessibility, energy efficiency, etc.). (iv) Support the Legal and Real Estate departments on the technical aspects of lease agreements and preparation of construction contracts. **Budgets and Costs:** (i) Advise the Real Estate Manager on establishing preliminary construction costs (estimates) during the design/development phase to achieve an approved target budget. (ii) Review and validate construction budgets (capex) in coordination with the Finance department for all required orders and payments. (iii) Cost control and variance analysis. (iv) Resource optimization and supplier negotiations. **Planning and Monitoring:** (i) Development of construction schedules. (ii) Coordination of checklists with other departments. (iii) Tracking of milestones and delivery deadlines. (iv) Management of unforeseen events and resolution of technical issues. **Project Coordinator:** (i) Planning and monitoring of meetings with International Central, Merchandising, and IT teams for plan reviews and capex estimation. (ii) Organization of Committees to coordinate and monitor involved departments across projects. **Launch and Handover:** (i) Supervision of handover of completed works to Retail/Operations. (ii) Transfer of operational responsibility for technical installations (lighting, HVAC, security, etc.). (iii) Validation of finishes and space functionality. **Team Management:** (i) Supervision of the Construction team. (ii) Training and alignment of the team with the global strategy. **Internal Relationships:** Project Coordinator Role: (i) Periodic meetings with the EME Construction, Merchandising, and IT teams. (ii) Maintenance and Real Estate. (iii) Finance team. (iv) Departments involved in openings\-closures\-remodeling. **Reporting and Analysis:** (i) Presentation of projects to General Management/Codirs. (ii) Review of capex allocated per store/project (Finance).
