Preschool Cook

Description

A cook is needed for a preschool, with a temporary contract and part-time schedule. Duties include daily preparation of menus, as well as receiving and supervising food orders. It is also necessary to properly place and organize these orders, and to monitor and maintain food stock. Another important aspect of the job is maintaining order, cleanliness, and hygiene both in the kitchen and in the office. This involves cleaning, sanitizing, and properly storing all utensils and materials used during meals, such as tableware, cutlery, containers, surfaces, and other kitchen equipment. High chairs, tables, and all items used by children during meals must also be cleaned and sanitized. Finally, compliance with the center’s food hygiene and safety regulations is required, especially regarding food handling, preservation, and storage. Collaboration is also expected to ensure the smooth overall operation of the dining and kitchen services. The offered salary ranges between €9,500 and €10,700 gross per year.
