Identify guests’ reservation requirements and determine appropriate room types. Verify availability of room types and rates. Explain deposit requirements, special rates, and cancellation policies to callers. Accommodate and document special requests. Answer questions regarding property facilities/services and room accommodations. Maximize revenue by applying sales techniques. Input and access data in the reservation system. Enter correct codes and rates into the reservation system to indicate special room reservation types (e.g., Complimentary Rooms, staff discounts, travel agent rates, wholesale reservations). Follow appropriate reporting procedures when guest issues arise. Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain a neat, professional uniform and personal appearance; safeguard confidential information; protect company assets; and protect the privacy and security of guests and colleagues.
