End-to-end visibility of solutions in demanding environments DESCRIPTION You will join a high-impact project within one of Spain’s top technological engineering firms — a leader in developing solutions for sectors such as defense, space, IT, transportation, and ATM — with involvement in strategic projects at a global level. You will be part of an environment where cloud transformation is not theoretical but an operational reality applied to critical systems, contributing to initiatives setting international benchmarks in their respective sectors. This role goes beyond implementation: you will actively participate in defining modern cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform, making technical decisions that directly impact business outcomes. You will work with advanced services such as GKE, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions, designing distributed, secure, and cost-optimized solutions in contexts characterized by high technical complexity and continuous challenge. You will have end\-to\-end visibility of solutions — from requirements gathering through to production deployment and evolution — collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in demanding, highly critical environments. Additionally, you will contribute to deployment automation, continuous platform improvement, and architecture standard definition. This is an opportunity to position yourself at the design layer within the cloud ecosystem, consolidating an architecturally oriented profile through real-world, large-scale, high-impact, and internationally scoped projects. **Hybrid model (50% remote / 50% onsite)** * Combined remote and onsite work * Workplace: Miguel Yuste area (Madrid) * Structured corporate environment REQUIREMENTS Solid experience with **Google Cloud Platform (minimum 2\-3 years)** * Design and implementation of solutions on **Compute Engine, GKE, and Cloud Functions** * Experience with **containers and orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE)** * Practical knowledge of **distributed architectures and microservices** * Hands-on experience with **Infrastructure as Code (Terraform required)** * Deployment automation (CI/CD with Cloud Build, GitLab CI or similar) * Knowledge of **GCP data services**: BigQuery, Cloud Storage * Experience in **data-oriented solution modeling (analytics / basic ingestion)** * Cloud security: * Identity management (**IAM**) * Networking (**VPC, subnets, firewall rules**) * Security best practices and compliance * Experience in **monitoring and observability**: * Cloud Operations (Stackdriver) * Logging, metrics, and alerts * Experience in **real production environments** (not just labs or training projects) ### **Desirable qualifications (differentiators)** * Experience in **cloud migrations (lift \& shift / modernization)** * Multi\-cloud knowledge (AWS or Azure) * Experience in **cost optimization (basic FinOps)** * GCP certifications (Associate or Professional) * Experience in enterprise environments / consulting
