We are seeking a **Senior Engineer specialized in Photonics** to join an innovation project within the **Next-Generation Sensor Innovation Center** of one of our key clients. The objective of this engagement is to develop next-generation technological solutions for advanced detection and sensing systems, integrating high-precision optical instrumentation, electronics, and signal processing. The selected candidate will lead and execute R\+D\+i activities focused on the design, development, and validation of **advanced photonic sensors**, particularly in the field of microwave photonics applied to radar. They will operate in a highly demanding technological environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams at the intersection of engineering, science, and applied innovation. REQUIREMENTS **Technical Requirements:** **Mandatory** * Minimum 10 years of experience in photonic technologies applied to R\+D environments. * Advanced knowledge of optical instrumentation, photonic sensing, and data acquisition systems (Arduino, Keysight, or others). * Experience in signal processing and analysis, experimental calibration, and optical characterization. * Proficiency in scientific and technical programming tools (Python, MATLAB). * Ability to work in laboratory environments using rigorous experimental methodologies and precise technical documentation. * High-level English proficiency (for technical documentation and international collaborations). * University degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Communication Technologies, or related fields, with specialization in Photonics. **Desirable** * Experience in scientific projects or collaborations related to radar technologies or microwave photonics. * Participation in innovation ecosystems or technology transfer initiatives. * Knowledge of advanced optical-electronic system integration techniques.
