While developing professional competencies essential for their future careers, they also contribute to significant projects across electricity generation, distribution, and sales. **About the department** The internship will take place within the **Front Office – Origination Iberia** area, a team operating in national and international energy commodity markets, including electricity, gas, oil, and CO₂ emission allowances. Within this environment, the Origination area identifies new opportunities related to trading operations and energy purchase-sale agreements (PPAs), offering practical insight into energy market operations and their economic\-financial analysis. **Training objectives** During the internship, the student will have the opportunity to: * Understand how energy markets operate and become familiar with the Front Office environment. * Learn how to support the team in tracking origination-related opportunities. * Participate in meetings with counterparties to understand negotiation and collaboration processes within the area. * Become familiar with monitoring PPA contract compliance, understanding their key operational aspects. * Collaborate in analyzing risks associated with operations and contracts using departmental methodologies and tools. * Develop skills in economic and financial information analysis applied to the energy sector. * Strengthen teamwork, professional communication, and organizational abilities in an international setting. **Mentorship and follow-up** The selected candidate will receive continuous guidance from a specialized mentor who will set learning objectives aligned with the training program.
