Job Summary: We are seeking an Applications Engineer for Substation Automation and Control Systems, responsible for promoting, qualifying, configuring, validating, training, and providing technical support for the product portfolio. Experience in electrical protection is highly desirable, although candidates with strong potential and motivation to develop in this field will also be considered. **What will be your responsibilities?** * Promotion of the product portfolio for automation, control, and monitoring of transmission and distribution substations. * Analysis of substation control system technical specifications and evaluation of compliance levels with our automation products. * Definition of technical proposals for control equipment and/or substation control systems. * Certification of automation products for control, monitoring, and automation of transmission and distribution substations. * Configuration and testing of automation products for control, monitoring, and automation of transmission and distribution substations. * Authoring of product application notes/guides. * Training on automation product portfolio. * Technical support at internal (colleagues) and external (customers) levels. * Incident analysis. * Lifecycle management of certified products. * Support for product repairs. * Participation in local working groups. **What profile are we looking for?** * University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Electrical Engineering, with a solid foundation in power systems, automation, protection, and control. * Minimum 4 years’ experience in protection and control, particularly in applications engineering roles. * Fluent command of both Spanish and English, essential for communication with international teams and customers.
