Professional development within a robust technical environment At SOCOTEC Spain, we are looking for a Senior Civil or Highway Engineer to join the Civil Engineering Projects Department in Madrid. We seek a candidate with solid experience in the design and drafting of road and/or railway projects, and with the ability to work autonomously and make technical decisions. Responsibilities * Development and coordination of linear infrastructure projects (roads and railways). * Design of drainage solutions, alignment, earthworks, and affected utilities. * Full preparation of technical documentation: reports, appendices, specifications, measurements, and budgets. * Technical supervision of work performed by other team members. * Collaboration with other disciplines (geotechnics, structures, environment, BIM). * Support in project planning and reporting tasks. Requirements * Degree in Civil Engineering or Highway, Canal and Port Engineering. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil engineering projects. * Desirable experience in: * Surface and underground drainage * Alignment * BIM modeling * Affected utilities * Measurements and budgets * Proficiency with technical software (Civil 3D, OpenRoads, Presto, AutoCAD, etc.). * Autonomy, coordination skills, and technical vision.
