Join us and experience a flexible, supportive environment where your well\-being is prioritized and your potential can thrive. **The Role** * **Application Deployment Management:** Configure the data lifecycle from development to production using Git branches in **Azure DevOps** to automatically deploy to GCP. * **Airflow Pipeline Development:** Schedule and monitor workflows in **Cloud Composer**, ensuring task dependencies are efficient and retries are handled intelligently. * **Data Modeling with dbt:** Write and maintain business logic in SQL within **dbt**, executing these transformations directly on **BigQuery** to maximize performance. * **Serverless Ingestion Implementation:** Build functions in **Cloud Functions** to respond to file arrivals in Cloud Storage or HTTP requests, and orchestrate containers in **Cloud Run** for resource-intensive processes. * **Monitoring and Observability in Looker:** Design technical reports in **Looker** acting as a "Control Tower", enabling the operations team to instantly identify pipeline failures or data latency. * **Cost and Performance Optimization:** Analyze job history in **BigQuery** to identify expensive queries and propose improvements to table structure or dbt code. **Who You Are** We seek a Data Engineer specialized in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. This role not only builds data pipelines but also ensures their operationality, quality, and continuous deployment through software engineering practices applied to data. For this position, we require a professional with a hybrid mindset bridging traditional data engineering and DevOps culture: **\- Technical Experience:** * **Orchestration:** Expert in **Apache Airflow**, capable of designing complex DAGs, handling custom operators, and managing infrastructure via **Cloud Composer**. * **Transformation and Modeling:** Proficiency in **dbt (data build tool)** for the transformation layer, applying data quality tests and version control. * **Serverless Processing:** Ability to implement data microservices using **Cloud Run** (containers) and **Cloud Functions** (event\-driven) for lightweight ingestions or triggers. * **Storage:** Experience working with **BigQuery**, including query optimization, partitioning, clustering, and cost management. * **DataOps \& CI/CD Approach:** + **Azure DevOps:** Experience configuring Pipelines (YAML) to automate deployment of dbt code, Airflow DAGs, and infrastructure resources (IaC). + **Observability:** Ability to create monitoring dashboards in **Looker** visualizing job status, data latency, and SLA compliance. **Being You** The “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
