To achieve this, a cross-functional and holistic view of data—as well as strong communication, collaboration, and influence skills with various stakeholders—is essential. **KEY ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES** * Coordinate and facilitate communication and consensus between business units and technical teams to define and validate data solutions aligned with business needs. * Collaborate with business unit owners and users to identify their data requirements and manage their expectations regarding data. * Define conceptual and logical models for data domains, identifying entities, attributes, and relationships, and establishing governing business rules (e.g., visibility, modifiability, precedence, aging). * Ensure data solutions align with the organization’s strategic vision, objectives, and legal and regulatory requirements. * Collaborate with data governance, data engineering, and data science teams to deliver robust solutions meeting business needs. * Work with the data architecture team to understand, leverage, and extend the organization’s data architecture components, identifying additional ecosystem requirements. * Collaborate with IT systems analysts to deeply understand data flows and integrations across systems, jointly designing integrated solutions. * Assess the impact and value of data solutions in projects and use cases, providing technical recommendations and advisory support. * Establish control and monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance with data management policies and standards. * Propose data management improvements and innovations based on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. **PROFILE** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Actuarial and Financial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields. **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years’ experience in data management and analytics initiatives within the insurance sector (e.g., implementation of analytical solutions, actuarial consulting, data analysis). **Knowledge:** * Familiarity with core data domains in an insurance organization. * Knowledge and application of data modeling methodologies and standards (e.g., ACORD, UML) in Master Data Management (MDM) or Single Source of Truth (SSOT) implementations. * Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data (relational databases, JSON, XML, etc.). * Project management skills (e.g., PMP, Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban). * Knowledge of data-related regulations (e.g., GDPR) is desirable. * Experience with BI tools—especially Microsoft Power BI—is advantageous. * Knowledge of data processing and transformation using Python or Scala is advantageous. **Languages:** * Fluent spoken and written English. **Skills:** * Critical thinking, autonomy, and teamwork capability. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Effective communication and stakeholder influence capabilities. * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. **Why Join AXA Spain?** AXA Spain is one of AXA’s most significant Talent Hubs, with over 3,000 employees working on local and international projects.
