Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor in food production to lead teams and ensure compliance with production plans, cost targets, and quality standards. Key Highlights: 1. Ongoing training and internal growth opportunities At Grupo El Castillo, we are launching a selection process to fill the position of **Shift Supervisor** at our food sector facility located in Benaguasil (Valencia). We are looking for a candidate with mandatory experience in food production environments. The selected person will be directly responsible for the operational management of their shift, leading teams of 50 to 80 people, and ensuring compliance with production plans, cost targets, and quality standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Operational management and leadership of production teams** comprising 50 to 80 people, overseeing their performance, organization, and development. * Planning and supervision of shop-floor activities, ensuring compliance with the assigned **production plan** and cost optimization. * Monitoring compliance with occupational health and safety (PRL), quality, and food safety regulations. * Coordination with middle management and specialist technicians (line leaders, quality managers, maintenance staff, machine operators). * Monitoring and optimization of production KPIs: efficiency, yield loss, cycle times, incidents, unplanned stoppages, etc. * Implementation of continuous improvement methodologies such as **Lean Manufacturing**, 5S, or similar. * Technical knowledge of the production process and machinery, enabling identification of improvement opportunities and participation in operational analysis (without direct responsibility for equipment operation or maintenance). * Management of workplace climate, conflict resolution, and development of team members’ skills. **Requirements:** * Minimum **3 years’ prior experience as Shift Supervisor or Production Manager** in food industry companies (mandatory). * Minimum qualification: **Vocational Training (FP)** or **university degree** in industrial, agri-food, or related fields. * Availability to work **rotating shifts from Monday to Saturday**. * Knowledge of people management, productivity, and continuous improvement. * Leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Additional training in Lean, 5S, or similar methodologies. * Experience in cost management and optimization of industrial processes. **We Offer:** * Stable employment at an established production plant within the sector. * Full-time rotating shift schedule. * Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. * Continuous training and genuine internal growth opportunities. *At GRUPO EL CASTILLO, diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential pillars of our daily operations, and we are committed to fostering workplaces where individuals are treated with respect and dignity.* *Our selection processes are conducted under the principle of equal opportunity and non-discrimination, ensuring no discrimination based on gender, race, ideology, religion, sexual orientation, or any other personal, physical, or social condition.* JOIN GC!
