Access to technological updates 2022\-08\-25 Back to job listings ### **Cloud Solutions Pre-Sales Engineer** Roles: Pre-Sales Engineer Work Location: Spain \| Madrid \| Madrid Job Description: Sermicro has an opening to join its Systems Department in the Pre-Sales role, specializing in Cloud Solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) across public, private, and hybrid environments. The selected candidate will work closely with the pre-sales department and internal teams to design proposals that bridge the gap between complex business challenges and cloud-based solutions. In a consultative approach, this person will leverage their expertise to deliver technical content and assist the sales team in developing Statements of Work (SOW) and securing agreements. Candidate Profile: * University degree in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) * Solid knowledge of public, private, and hybrid cloud environments * Solid knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP architectures, solutions, and products * Understanding of business needs and requirements, with ability to develop solutions for business and technical challenges * Practical knowledge of the full technology stack—from network layer to application layer—including at least Windows and Linux operating systems * Practical knowledge of cloud-specific security and compliance concepts and designs, as well as cloud connectivity * Experience drafting technical SOWs * Experience in technical communication with clients * Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency * Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools Technologies: Linux, Windows Server, Azure, AWS, GCP Education: Bachelor's Degree (4+ years) Experience: 2 years \- 5 years Working Hours: Full-time Schedule: Office-based Languages: English B2 Driver's License Type B: Not Required We Offer: * Permanent contract * Professional growth opportunities * Compensation commensurate with the candidate's experience * Hybrid work model * Access to technological updates through our partners Apply to this Position
