Job Summary: Full-cycle mechanical design development, including conceptualization, calculation, documentation, and validation, as well as optimization of existing designs and coordination with suppliers. Optimization of existing designs and problem resolution Responsibilities: - Full-cycle mechanical design development: conceptualization, 3D design, calculation, documentation, and validation. - Design of mechanical components and assemblies, primarily in stainless steel and engineering plastics. - Preparation of drawings, exploded views, bills of materials (BOM/bill-of-materials lists), and associated technical documentation. - Review and optimization of existing designs to improve functionality, reliability, or cost. - Preparation of manufacturing and assembly documentation. - Tolerance analysis, fit analysis, and producibility assessment. - Coordination with suppliers and workshops to ensure correct part manufacturing. - Mechanical testing of prototypes and developed designs. - Identification and resolution of mechanical issues during development and validation. - Participation in design reviews (design, assembly, safety, etc).
