Home Care Assistant

Description

We are seeking staff for the home care service in the Region of Murcia. Candidates must hold the Professional Certification in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons, or alternatively, possess a Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle in Nursing Assistant, Socio-Healthcare Technician, or Technician in Care for Dependent Persons. At least one year of experience in similar positions is valued, as well as basic knowledge of occupational risk prevention, quality, and environmental matters. Duties include direct assistance at the user's home, following guidelines established by service supervisors. Responsibilities encompass assisting or supervising personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, footwear selection, and feeding. Household tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, laundry, and ironing are also included, along with assistance in transfers, postural changes, getting up, and going to bed. External accompaniment for walks or medical appointments is also part of the role. The working schedule is part-time, totaling 30 hours per week, with potential for extension. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The offered contract is temporary, intended to cover a temporary incapacity leave.
