Participate in the formulation and monitoring of projects The **mission** **of this position is to** manage international cooperation grants (from both public and private donors), public administration grants, Development Education grants, and funding calls issued by companies and foundations, carrying out their technical and financial formulation, monitoring, and justification in accordance with the objectives set forth in the annual planning of the Program Financing team. **Main Responsibilities** **Regarding management of public funding calls for Cooperation or Development Education:** * Collect and analyze various public institution funding calls for development cooperation, in line with the unit coordinator’s guidelines. * Formulate cooperation and Education for Social Transformation (EPTS) projects, adapting them to the criteria established by the funding entity and in alignment with the unit’s annual planning. * Prepare monitoring and final reports (both technical and financial components) and respond to requests from the funding entity. * Maintain interaction with Public Institutions via their digital platforms for grant management. * Establish and maintain contact with technical staff of assigned funding entities, as well as participate in Cooperation Councils addressing topics related to public cooperation calls, master plans, or definition of their bases and instruments. * Conduct and coordinate field monitoring visits to strategic programs and projects within the portfolio, as previously planned. * Keep the unit’s information systems up to date. **Regarding projects currently funded or seeking funding:** * Participate in the identification and formulation of cooperation projects, as well as their monitoring and justification (technical and financial), in accordance with internal procedures and in coordination with the Strategy, Project Management, Territorial, and counterpart units. * Contribute to and/or manage (where applicable) baseline studies, external evaluations, and/or assessments of funded projects. * Coordinate with Communications, EPD, and Territorial units to support project communication and dissemination plans. **Regarding external audit management processes:** * Manage and monitor external grant audits in coordination with responsible technical staff, external consultants, the Project Management team, and the counterpart team. * Coordinate and carry out field monitoring activities for strategic programs and projects within the portfolio. **Regarding the unit’s overall functioning:** * Support the unit leader by providing necessary documentation and information for defining and designing tools, instruments, and procedures used in the comprehensive planning, monitoring, evaluation, and accountability of projects funded by IIPP or by companies and foundations through calls. * Coordinate with various professionals involved in the projects to ensure appropriate monitoring. We are seeking a professional who meets the following **requirements**: * **University degree** and/or **postgraduate/Master’s degree in** International Cooperation. * **Minimum 3 years’ experience** managing technically and financially-accountable cooperation and Development Education projects co-financed by public or private entities, from identification through to ex-post evaluation. * **Essential experience** in external audit and evaluation processes, as well as familiarity with logical framework methodology, systems, and knowledge of legislation and call specifications issued by Public Institutions in the region. * **Mandatory** high-level English and Catalan, both spoken and written. * **Advanced proficiency in** MS Excel required. * Experience managing European cooperation funds and funds from other international agencies is highly valued. * Specialized training in gender, environment, theory of change, and human rights will be considered an asset. **We offer:** * Permanent contract. * Full-time position. * **Salary:** €27,000 gross per annum. * **Location:** Central Office (Barcelona).
