Study Abroad initiates a recruitment process to incorporate Associate Teaching and Research Staff (PDI) in Numerical Methods **Functions and duties:** The candidate shall teach 3\.98 credit hours of the course Numerical Methods (Métodos Numéricos). The candidate must be able to cover both the theoretical and practical aspects of the syllabus: https://www.uvic.cat/en/international/study\-abroad/engineering Among their responsibilities are: planning and delivering instruction; preparing teaching materials, exercises, practical activities and learning resources; tutoring and advising students; designing and implementing the continuous assessment system in accordance with the teaching plan; monitoring students' academic progress; participating in teaching quality assurance processes; as well as attending coordination meetings and maintaining communication with the International Programs Unit and other involved faculty members. **Requirements** info**Decree on recognition of qualifications of teaching and research staff and professional services staff**keyboard\_arrow\_down**Title** Bachelor's or Licentiate degree in Mathematics or equivalent qualification. **Certification of Level C1 in Catalan or commitment to obtain it** **Subject taught in English.
