**We are looking for: Lead Cloud Operations \& SRE Engineer** =================================================== Do you have experience leading SRE teams and a strong track record in AWS environments? This opportunity may be for you. **Position Summary** ---------------------- The **Lead Cloud Operations \& SRE Engineer** role is responsible for providing technical leadership to the Operations and SRE function, driving strategic initiatives to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance. This role involves setting the technical direction and collaborating closely with other departments to support the organization's cloud strategy. **Requirements** -------------- * Extensive AWS knowledge. * Extensive knowledge of Landing Zone (LZ), Direct Connect, AWS Organizations, SCPs, among others. * Extensive knowledge of EKS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. * Experience managing high-severity incidents using tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW) and Jira. * Experience in technical leadership of SRE teams. * English proficiency level: C1\. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Establish the technical vision for the SRE team, ensuring alignment with overall business and technical strategies. * Define and implement strategies for infrastructure optimization, cost management, and scalability. * Provide technical oversight for high-severity incidents and follow-up actions, coordinating response efforts and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders through appropriate channels (SNOW, Jira, etc.). * Identify and implement opportunities to improve platform resilience, reliability, and cost profile. * Lead automation initiatives for operational processes to enhance cloud environment efficiency. * Collaborate closely with Engineering, Security, and Support teams to ensure the Secure Landing Zone meets all requirements and standards. * Drive continuous improvement in operations, reliability engineering, and team practices. **Additional Information** ------------------------- **Location:** All of Spain **Working Hours:** 40 hours/week (September to June) and 35 hours/week (July and August).
