**Location: Boadilla del Monte** **Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite)** **THE COMPANY** Our client is an international consulting firm operating in Spain, Chile, Panama, Mexico, and soon in the United States. **DESCRIPTION** Our client seeks to hire a Senior Backend Developer to join a strategic project in the banking/financial sector, with a strong technical focus and emphasis on high-performance systems. This involves the development and evolution of mission-critical solutions, where you will work with Python and C\+\+ at an advanced programming level, actively participating in technical design, performance optimization, and service integration within distributed computing grid environments. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Development and maintenance of backend software with emphasis on performance, stability, and * scalability. * Advanced programming in Python (pure programming, not Big Data-oriented). * Development and optimization of C\+\+ components (Java is a plus) * Integration and consumption of APIs for inter-system communication. * Working with in-memory databases such as Redis and/or Valkey. * Deployment and operation of services in containerized environments and Kubernetes platforms. * Experience with SOA architecture. * Collaboration with other technical teams to design efficient and robust solutions. * Analysis and resolution of complex incidents in production environments. * Application of best practices in development, testing, and technical documentation. **REQUIREMENTS** * English level C1 or equivalent. * Senior profile as a backend developer. * Solid hands-on experience in Python (not Big Data, not ad-hoc scripting). * Demonstrable experience in C\+\+ * Knowledge and practical use of in-memory databases such as Redis and/or Valkey * Experience in API integration and consumption * Experience with SOA architecture. * Zero Grid TIBCO DataSynapse IBM Symphony Grids customized * Ability to work autonomously in complex technical environments * Demonstrable experience in deployment, operation, and maintenance of services in containerized environments and Kubernetes platforms in production settings. **EMPLOYEE BENEFITS** * Stock options
