Job Summary: We are seeking a PL/I developer to analyze incidents, design and implement batch applications, and collaborate on optimizing processes and evolving enterprise solutions. Key Highlights: 1. Design, develop, and implement PL/I batch applications. 2. Perform evolutionary and corrective maintenance on critical enterprise applications. 3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and research new technologies. ### **Responsibilities** * Analyze production incidents and business requirements together with Product Owners and technical teams. * Design, develop, and implement batch applications based on PL/I technology. * Perform evolutionary and corrective maintenance on critical enterprise applications. * Provide technical and functional support to clients during implementation and evolution of insurance-sector solutions. * Use and adapt development frameworks to maintain, extend, and customize existing functionalities. * Participate in the optimization and continuous improvement of batch processes and core applications. * Create and maintain technical documentation for processes and developments. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in international environments. * Research and adopt new technologies that contribute to improving technical solutions. ### **Requirements** * Proven experience in PL/I development. * Candidates with solid COBOL or Fortran experience and willingness to specialize in PL/I are also valued. * Basic knowledge of Linux and routine use of standard commands (e.g., vi, grep, sudo, netstat, among others). * Strong analytical skills, problem-solving orientation, and technical autonomy. * Good teamwork and communication skills. * Advanced level of English (minimum B2+/C1), both spoken and written. * Experience in maintenance and evolution of enterprise applications. * Ability to work in international environments and collaborate with various business areas.
